Omani student company recycles marble waste into environmentally friendly products

The student company "Reston" from the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Nizwa was able to benefit from marble waste by recycling it into environmentally friendly, sustainable, and safe products.Reem bint Dhaher Al Omari said to Oman News Agency (ONA): “The idea of the company was to take advantage of harmful marble waste, which is present in huge quantities, greatly affects the environment, and is difficult to get rid of. We worked on extracting the chemical components in marble, and producing white bricks and cement.”
