When should companies transfer employee salaries in Oman?

Muscat: Is there a specific monthly date allocated for the transfer of employee salaries?

A statement issued online by the Ministry of Labour said that employers are obliged to pay salaries within seven days from the end of the pay period, as stated in Article 51 of the Labour Law.

The Ministry pointed out that failure to comply with this regulation is considered a breach. Accordingly, employees have the right to file a labour complaint if their salaries are not paid within the designated period.
