Thousands gather to celebrate Holi in Oman

Muscat: The Indian festival of colours - Holi - was celebrated by thousands in Muscat, at the Almouj Golf Club.
Holi, a two-day festival celebrated by Indians across the world, marks the arrival of spring. People celebrate with colours, to symbolise the variety of colours that are often associated with spring season.
At the "Festival of Colours" presented by Axis Events in association with Omantel, several expats of various nationalities and religions got together to celebrate and take part in the festivities.
Activities for various age groups along with a fun zone and food court were available, apart from live musical performances by 10-15 artists.
