Ambassador of Oman presents his credentials to Russian President

Moscow: President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation received at the Kremlin Palace on Wednesday Hamoud Salim Al Tuwaih who presented his credentials to the president as extraordinary, plenipotentiary ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Russian Federation.

During the meeting, the ambassador conveyed greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, as well as best wishes of good health and happiness to the Russian President, and permanent progress and prosperity to the Russian people.

The Russian President asserted that Oman-Russia relations are gradually progressing. He pointed out that business institutions in the two countries seek to expand the bilateral trade and investment relations, as well as implementing joint ventures including sectors of agriculture and transport.

The ambassador reiterated keenness of the Sultanate of Oman in promoting relations with the Russian Federation. He expressed his gratitude of the progress and growth witnessed by these relations in all spheres.
