Muscat: The operations of extending Iranian gas pipelines to the Sultanate of Oman will begin this year to export Iranian gas to the Sultanate.
Fars News Agency, ( FNA ) said that the director of the Iranian Gas Engineering and Development Company, Reza Noshadi, announced that the operations of extending gas pipelines between the regions of Minab and Koh Mubarak in southern Iran, with the aim of exporting gas to the Sultanate of Oman, will start during the current Iranian year, which began on March 21.
Noshadi added that the agreement to export Iranian gas to the Sultanate of Oman stipulates the extension of gas pipelines from the city of Mina Bali, the Koh Mubarak region near the Iranian port of Jask.
