Dar Al Atta’a gets two prestigious ISO certifications

Muscat: ​As a result of its quality management and environment protection measures, non-governmental charitable association Dar Al Atta’a, has received two prestigious certifications.
Dar Al Atta’a Association has obtained the ISO 9001 certificate for its work process management and ISO 14001 for protection of environment and its resources.
Maryam Al Zadjali, president of the Dar Al Atta’a Association, said: It is our pleasure and pride that Dar Al Atta’a is the first charity to be ISO certified in the Sultanate. We are committed to following up on this approach in which we have been qualified for this certificate.
“This is also an incentive for us to work more, productivity and more quality and success especially as we support the community through our volunteer work and our service to a large segment of individuals.”
Following international quality standards and work plans in all departments, the Association obtained ISO 9001 certification, one of the most widely recognised quality management standards in the world.
The Association also obtained the ISO 14001 environmental protection certificate, which is committed to preserving the environment, saving water and power besides safe use and recycling of environmental resources.
It determines environmental management systems and effectively helps reduce the overall wastage of resources.
Dar Al Atta’a recently celebrated with its employees and representatives of the TUV Nord Middle East certificate-granting office on this occasion.
Dar Al Atta’a is a non-governmental charitable association which assists distressed families. It was established in April 2002 and was officially declared as a charity association by Ministerial Decision No. 67/2006 on 21/6/2006.
