HH The Honourable Lady addresses message of greetings on Mother’s Day

Her Highness the Honourable Lady Assayida Ahd Abdullah Hamed Al Busaidi, Spouse of the Sultan of Oman, has addressed a message of congratulations on the occasion of Mother’s Day, which falls on 21 March every year. An excerpt from the message reads as: “A mother represents a symbol of sacrifices and a source of mercy. Her resourcefulness is inexhaustible; awards countless; blessings great; bounties plentiful and status lofty. Allah the Almighty honoured the mother and our Prophet advised us to do the same. It has thus become incumbent on us to take care of the mother, honour her and respect her."
