Muscat: Jebel Sifah hosted the first edition of Wonder Island recently in partnership with Taiseer Platform, the event showcased games, sports, talent shows, live music and entertainment, live food stations, and a family circus.
Guests enjoyed a virtual reality corner, electronic games, fire shows, traditional Omani dance, food, games and performances dedicated towards celebrating Ramadan. The Jebel Sifah marina was open all weekend for guests to enjoy various land and water activities.
“This is a fantastic event for the whole family to enjoy,” said Karim Boushra, Area Destinations Director at Muriya. “We are excited to partner with Taiseer Platform to bring such a wide-ranging entertainment spectacle to Jebel Sifah and provide a platform for local talent to perform, reach new audiences, and enrich the experience for residents, guests, visitors and the local community.”
Further highlights included a special exhibit focusing on coastal life, including a live craft display where local craftspeople showcase the art of making fishing nets, traditional coastal songs, beach games and a bazaar corner featuring a selection of souvenirs.
