Agreement to provide interactive screens in some schools signed

Muscat: The Ministry of Education signed on Sunday a cooperation agreement with the Asyad Ports to finance a number of schools in the Wilayat of Suwaiq in North Al Batinah Governorate with interactive screens.

Majid bin Said Al Bahri, Undersecretary for Administrative and Financial Affairs, attended the agreement signing that took place in the Ministry’s General Diwan.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the Ministry of Education by Dr. Waleed bin Talib Al Hashemi, Director-General of the Directorate-General of Education in North Al Batinah Governorate, and on behalf of Asyad Ports Company, Faisal bin Ali Al Balushi, Director-General of Commercial Affairs in the company.

Dr. Walid Al Hashemi, said: “The signing of this agreement comes as a translation of the real partnership between the educational directorate of North Al Batinah and the private sector, which will enhance the educational process in schools, and support modern educational methodsthat aims to achieve the educational system in the Sultanate in line with Vision 2040.”

Faisal Al Balushi said: “This partnership with the educational sector comes as part of the company’s societal mission aimed at advancing and serving the community.”

“It’s a pleasure to provide this support to the Directorate-General of Education in North Al Batinah, and we hope that this partnership achieves the goals and visions it was set for, the most important of which is the development and enhancement of students’ abilities and the educational process,” he added.
