Workshop held on empowering public establishments with technical solutions

Muscat: An extensive workshop on empowering public establishments and governorates with joint national solutions and systems kicked off on Sunday.

The four-day workshop is organised by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology within the framework of implementing the requirements of the National Programme for Digital Economy and the executive plan for the Government Digital Transformation Programme 2021-2025.

The workshop aims to implement the approach of ‘joint interests’ on the level of establishments and governorates. This approach targets developing central or joint systems and technical solutions that are benefitted by all establishments in a bid to enhance expenditure quality and limit the costs of development, as well as avoid repetition in developing systems.
