Children in Oman plant 1,000 seedlings for World Wetlands Day

Muscat: Several children in Wilayat Khabourah celebrated World Wetlands Day by planting trees as part of a campaign organised by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs.
According to the ministry more than 1,000 seedlings were planted by schoolchildren and members of the local community as part of the initiative.
