Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman's Foreign Minister has met with a number of businessmen, investors and representatives of companies in the Republic of India.
His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, held a meeting with a number of businessmen, investors and representatives of companies from various economic sectors in India, within the framework of his visit to the Republic of India to participate in the meetings of the G20 foreign ministers in New Delhi.
During the meeting, they discussed the trade and investment relations and the existing Omani-Indian partnership, as well as the investment opportunities offered by the Sultanate of Oman and the incentives and facilities available to business owners.
The meeting also discussed partnership opportunities in the education, health, technology, information technology, digital transformation and renewable energy sectors.
The meeting was attended by Issa Saleh Al Shibani, Ambassador of Oman to India, Pankaj Khimji, Advisor for Foreign Trade and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (Chief Coordinator for the participation of the Sultanate of Oman in the G20 meetings), Khalid Hashil Al Muselhi, Head of the Minister’s Office Department and officials at the Foreign Ministry.
