Major incentives for foreign investors, cut in registration fees

The Council of Ministers has approved the reduction of commercial registration fees for foreign investors so that they can be treated on par with Omani investors.The Council of Ministers eased the controls with the registration process to be determined by the authorities concerned, and exempted the bidding companies from providing temporary insurance/bid guarantee as a condition for entering the tender.
