HH the Honourable Lady to preside over passing out of female police officers

Her Highness the Honourable Lady Assayida Ahd Abdullah Hamed Al Busaidi, Spouse of the Sultan of Oman will preside over a celebration of Royal Oman Police on Sunday, marking the passing out of a new batch of female police. The ceremony will be held at Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences in Nizwa. Alongside with the Honourable Lady, female attendees will be present at the ceremony, including some members of the Royal family and the State Council, as well as undersecretaries, senior ROP officers and officials of various government units in Al Dakhiliyah.

Defence Ministry’s Secretary General receives US official

Dr. Mohammed Nasser Al Za’abi, Secretary General at the Ministry of Defence, received in his office today Daniel Benaim, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Arabian Peninsula Affairs in the Near East Bureau at the US Department of State. During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views and discussed several matters of mutual interest.
