Muscat: The 20-second-long fresh tremors of earthquake in Hatay, Türkiye on Monday evening were felt by the Omani National Search and Rescue Team.
Lieutenant Ali Al Farsi, one of members of the Rescue Team in Antakya, Türkiye, reassures via Times of Oman that the team is in good health after the recent earthquake.
The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) has also announced that the members of the Omani National Search and Rescue Team are safe after a fresh earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale hit Türkiye on Monday evening.
A statement issued online by CDAA said: “Hatay province, south of the Republic of Türkiye, was hit by an earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale, and we assure everyone that all members of the National Search and Rescue Team are fine.”
