Muscat: A number of Omani job seekers are competing to fill nine vacancies in government agencies in Al Dhahirah Governorate.
Oman News Agency (ONA), reported that the Ministry of Labour has conducted tests for typical work positions, in order to have job seekers fill vacant roles in Al Dhahirah Governorate, as a continuation of the Ministry's efforts to employ Omani youth in public and private sector institutions.
The number of jobs being contested for totalled nine in the government sector, in the building of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Ibri, Al Dhahirah Governorate, in the presence of specialists from government units and the Ministry of Labour.
The job opportunities offered for competition in the government units of the governorate include vacancies in the Directorate General of Agriculture and Water Resources in Al Dhahirah Governorate, the Quarantine and Food Safety Department at the Empty Quarter outlet, and in functions of food control, fish wealth and agricultural and veterinary quarantine.
