Rain over Northern Oman likely today

Muscat: Northern parts of the Sultanate could see isolated rains and the occasional thundershowers today, the Public Authority for Civil Aviation has announced.

According to PACA, there is a chance of dust rising due to winds along the coastal areas of Al Wusta governorate.

In a statement online, Oman's meteorological authority said, "Mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate with chances of cloud development over Al Hajer Mountains and the adjoining wilayats during afternoon. This may result in isolated rain and the occasional thundershower."

"There are chances of low level clouds or fog late at night or early in the morning along parts of coastal areas of South Al Sharqiyah and Al Wusta governorate," the PACA added.
