Sayyid Shihab receives Tanzanian Chief of Defence Forces

Muscat: HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs received in his office at Al Murtafaa Garrison here today General Jacob Mkunda, Chief of Defence Forces in the United Republic of Tanzania, and the military delegation accompanying him.

The meeting reviewed the advanced relations between the two countries. The two sides also exchanged views on a spectrum of topics of mutual interest.

The meeting was attended by Vice Admiral Abdullah Khalis Al Ra’eesi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces and the Tanzanian Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman.
