Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Thursday, February 9, 2023, issued a Royal Decree (No. 9/2023) appointing non-resident ambassadors, reading as follows:
Article (1) appoints Ali bin Suleiman bin Said Al Darmaki, the Sultanate of Oman’s ambassador to the Republic of Sudan, as Oman’s non-resident ambassador to the Republic of Chad.
Article (2) appoints Saud bin Hilal bin Saud Al Shithani, the Sultanate of Oman’s ambassador to the United Republic of Tanzania, as Oman’s non-resident ambassador to the Union of the Comoros, the Republic of Zambia, the Republic of Burundi and the Republic of Seychelles.
Article (3) appoints Ru’aa bint Issa bin Ashraf Al Zadjali, the Sultanate of Oman’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium, as Oman’s non-resident ambassador to the European Union and the European Commission.
Article (4) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.
