¾ cup blueberry paste / purée
1 cup powdered sugar
2 cups milk
1 tsp saffron
1 tsp green cardamom powder
Heat a pan, add the blueberry purée and 1 tsp of sugar. Gently cook for 3 minutes until the sugar dissolves.
Remove from the heat and set aside.
In a saucepan over medium heat boil milk. Continue boiling the milk for 20 minutes to reduce.
Add the blueberry mixture along with the remaining sugar, the saffron
and cardamom powder . Cook for another 15 minutes. Remove from the heat and set aside to cool. Refrigerate 3-4 hours before serving .
