Muscat: Muscat Municipality has organised a campaign to clean Qurum beach on Friday with participation of the Municipality’s Chairman.
In cooperation with Qalhat Services and Trade Company, Muscat Municipality is organising a general hygiene campaign aimed at cleaning Al Qurum Beach, on Friday, February 3. The campaign will begin in front of the beach - behind the Grand Hyatt Muscat Hotel at 8:30 AM.
Participants in the campaign will include Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Hamidi, Chairman of Muscat Municipality, a number of municipal and company officials, and various individuals.
The campaign, which comes within the activities of Muscat Nights 2023, aims at environmental sanitation, cleaning beaches of waste and residues and transporting them to the designated sites.
Furthermore, the campaign also aims to spread awareness to the community about the importance of cooperation in preserving beaches, service facilities and tourist sites, and the participation of the private sector in societal aspects, as well as the implementation of targeted campaigns.
