Muscat Municipality issued a statement about the fall of an electronic game.

Muscat: The Muscat Municipality has confirmed that most of the people injured on Tuesday night accident have returned home.

Seven people including a woman and children suffered injuries after one of the electric games at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre collapsed on Tuesday evening.

The Municipality issued a statement about the fall of an electric game as part of the Muscat Nights activities, saying: "Most of them have returned to their homes."

The Municipality added that it is monitoring the health status of two cases who were referred for further examinations.

A statement issued online by the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) said: "The rescue and ambulance teams of the CDAA in Muscat Governorate dealt with a report that an electric toy had fallen in the field of the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center in Al Irfan City."

The Muscat Municipality said that medical authorities and specialised teams examined the injuries and referred six cases to the medical authorities.

The municipality said that an investigation is underway, the damage is being assessed, and the necessary measures are being taken.
