Muscat Nights: Showjumping, a show of precision and finesse

The Show jumping tournament held as part of Muscat Nights concluded recently in Qurum Natural Park. The aim of the tournament was to involve private stables to implement various equestrian competitions, especially the Olympic Equestrian Sports and attract fans interested in equestrian sports.
 
In the finals, trainer Muhammed bin Salim Al-Hadrami from the Royal Cavalry, on the horseback of Dhikrayat, won the first place in the Grand Prize category at a height of 1.3 metre. The second place went to Hamoud bin Sultan Al Touqi on a Tallo BZ horse for the Olympic equestrian training centre, and the third place was taken by Al Khalid Bin Darwish Al Sabahi on Perfect Z from the Al Rayyan stable.

For the height of 1.2m, the prize went to Muhammed bin Salim Al-Hadrami on the horseback Raja from the Royal Cavalry of Oman, the second for Khalid Bin Darwish Al Sabahi riding Otania from Al Rayyan stable, and the third place was taken by the Royal Cavalry by Madin bin Saeed Al Yousfi riding Wadud.

For the junior category, the first place went to Khalid Bin Darwish Al Sabahi on Charman from Al Rayyan stable, the second place was taken by Khalfan bin Hamad Al-Hattali on Ips from the Royal Cavalry, the third place went to Mazin bin Fadel Al Ghafri on the horse Shumukh, the fourth place went to Jamal Bin Humaid Al Shariani on Al Tufan from the Royal Guard of Oman, and the fifth place went to the rider Barbara on the horse Custard from the Al Said stable.

The tournament was launched on the official opening day of Muscat Nights 2023, and the opening ceremony was attended by His Excellency the Governor of Muscat, His Excellency head of Muscat Municipality, and a number of Excellencies, Sheikhs, organisers and sponsors of Muscat Nights.
