Citizen arrested for drug possession in Musandam Governorate

Muscat: A citizen has been arrested in Musandam Governorate on the charge of possessing hashish and other narcotic substances.

Royal Oman Police said: “Musandam Governorate Police Command arrested a citizen for possessing 20 kg of hashish and 1,900 captagon tablets, in addition to crystal meth in connivance with an international drug cartel. And the legal procedures are underway.”

Earlier today, ROP announced the arrest of a citizen in North Al Batinah Governorate on charges of possessing 17 kg of hashish for the purpose of trafficking.
