Sur: The final stage of Bilarab Bin Haitham Award (BHA) for Architectural Design kicked off in the Wilayat of Sur on Monday—in its Second Cycle.
The ceremony was graced by His highness Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said, who viewed some of the projects that qualified to the last round. He listened to the discussions of the jury and comments on improving the projects before final submission.
HH Sayyid Bilarab also toured an exhibition comprising entries of top ten qualifiers, whom he praised and advised to consult the comments of the jury. He wished the participants success in the final round.
The qualifiers expressed their thanks and appreciation to HH Sayyid Bilarab for supporting youth and encouraging them to showcase their talents in architectural design.
The qualifying projects were distributed to adjudication over three days. Three projects were presented to the jury in the first day.
The participants have an opportunity to submit the final version of their projects by mid-February. The names of the top three winners will be announced during the final ceremony.
