Muscat: Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, received on Sunday Nasser Bourita, Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on developments in the Arab and international arenas.
They agreed to hold the next session of the joint Omani-Moroccan Committee in a bid to continue boosting cooperation programmes, explore partnerships in economic and other fields and achieve mutual interests.
On the political spectrum, the two sides underscored the two countries' joint vision, which promotes dialogue and constructive cooperation in tackling various issues and maintaining peace and stability among nations and peoples.
The meeting was attended by Khalid Hashel Al Muselhi, Head of the Minister’s Office Department, Tarek Lahssisne, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Sultanate of Oman and several officials from the Foreign Ministry.
