Oman, Saudi Arabia discuss regional, international issues

Muscat: On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al-Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers yesterday received Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef Al Saud, Minister of Interior in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
During the meeting, Prince Abdulaziz conveyed greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud of the KSA to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, along with his and Crown Prince's best wishes of permanent success to the country's leader and the government, and the Omani people further growth and prosperity.
After welcoming the guest and his accompanying delegation, Sayyid Fahd expressed the Sultanate's satisfaction over the progress of the strong bilateral relations between the two countries, thanks to the care extended to these relations by the wise governments of both countries.
On his turn, the KSA Minister of Interior expressed the deep fraternal and historic relations between the Sultanate and the KSA, and efforts of both sides to support them to serve interests of the two people.
The conversations during the meeting dealt with means of promoting the existing cooperation, as well as reviewing a range of current issues in the regional and international arenas and the importance of continuous meetings between the two sides.
Sayyid Fahd asked Prince Abdulaziz to convey greetings of His Majesty the Sultan to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, along with His Majesty's best wishes of permanent success to the King of KSA and the Crown Prince, and the KSA people further progress and growth.
The meeting was attended by Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, Eng. Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Maj.Gen Hamad bin Sulaiman Al Hatmi, Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs for Operations, Sayyid Khalifa bin Al Murdas Al Busaidi, Governor of Musandam and Dr. Sayyid Ahmed bin Hilal Al-Busaidi, Sultanate's Ambassador to the KSA. It was also attended by Eid bin Mohammed Al-Thaqafi, KSA Ambassador to the Sultanate.
