GUtech signed MoC with SLB

Muscat: Digital and Integration (D&I), a Division of SLB Company on Thursday 19th Jan 2023, signed a memorandum of collaboration (MoC) with German University of Technology in Oman on conducting a technical programme of Artificial intelligence called “AI Academy”. The programme will provide and supply university students and professionals with the platform to use AI and ML theoretically and practically for any required field. The aim of the MoC is to deliver a step -change in the technical learning programs and find new ways to extract maximum value from AI business.

The signing ceremony patronage of His Excellency Dr. Ali Al Shidhani, Undersecretary for Communications and Information Technology at Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology.

Artificial Intelligence is revolutionizing the way we do business and it is crucial that we stay ahead of the curve to stay competitive. GUtech was on of the leading Omani Universities to introduce the Artificial Intelligence as a full bachelor Academic programme, and once this AI Academy programme launched it will increase the skills and experiences of our students and those who are interested to study and learn AI in simple way. In Fact, the AI Academy is designed for non-AI and IT specialist, and those from other disciplines such as the Engineers, the Geologists, and the Business and Logistic students and professionals who can enjoy the AI solutions without going into full AI or coding programme.
