Winners of the Entrepreneurship Award to be announced in Oman

Muscat: As delegated by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, Sheikh Abdul Malik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Minister of Justice will patronise on Tuesday at Sultan Qaboos University Cultural Centre over the concluding ceremony for the 3rd version of ‘Riyada’ Award.

The winning entrepreneurs and SMEs, as well as supporters of entrepreneurship will be honoured during the event.

The awards fall in three categories newly ‘Riyada’, SMEs ‘Riyada’ and supporters’ award. The award, which was launched on March 21, 2017, passed many different stages starting with the awareness, registration at the three categories and final assessment of applications in cooperation with national and international experts.

Within the efforts made to achieve the strategic aims of the award and promote the development of SMEs, the award joined the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) to ensure implementing the best international practices to ensure added value by improving the assessment and selection through training workshop for valuators.

‘Riyada’ has signed an MoU with Omantel to support the third version of the award to achieve the social interest and partnership.
