Results of election to Board of Directors of Indian Schools in Oman declared

Muscat: The winners of the election to the Board of Directors (BoD) of Indian Schools in Oman was announced on Saturday night.

The winners include - Syed Salman who got 616 votes, Shameer P.T.K. bagged 539 votes, while Krishnendhu S received 410 votes, Nidheesh Kumar PP got 399 votes while Dr. Sivakumar Manickam, the current chairman got 344 votes.

There were fourteen people in the fray for the five-member posts of the Board of Directors of Indian Schools for the term 2023-2025.

The fourteen candidates were Shameer PTK, Dr. Sivakumar Manickam, Ajay Raj MK, Damodar R Katti, Jitendra Pandey, Krishnendhu S, Mahipal Reddy Eigapuri, Nidheesh Kumar PP, Prabhakaran Krishnamoorthy, Praveen Kumar Vojjala, Saji Uthuppan, Siju Thomas, Syed Salman, Vrinda Singhal

The voting took place between 8 am and 5 pm, which was supervised by a poll panel.
