Stopping the vehicle for sale in places other than designated places in the Sultanate of Oman, exposes the owner to a violation of the Traffic Law, said the Directorate General of Traffic

The Directorate General of Traffic said in a notice issued that stopping a vehicle for sale in places other than those designated for display or sale is a violation of the Traffic Law, and the Royal Oman Police has the right to tow the vehicles subject to the violation at the expense of the violator.

2. Rare perennial tree spotted in Al Buraimi 


The Sultanate of Oman's Environment Authority has monitored a rare perennial tree called the 'Haba' which was seen in Al Buraimi Governorate as part of the authority's field survey of wild trees and plants.

The authority said: "The Department of Environment in Al Buraimi Governorate has completed its work on a field survey project for wild trees and plants in Jabal Al-Sameni in the Wilayat of Mahdah, and the surveys witnessed the participation of community members. The specialists also monitored a rare perennial tree that is not widely seen, its length is 3-4 meters and is called the Haba tree."
