The Zubair Corporation recently organised the Fourth Human Resources Forum to promote a culture of constructive dialogue and active participation among the group companies’ Human Resource Departments and Services. The Corporation organised the forum in line with its vision and strategy for human resources. It was attended by several members of the senior management from the Corporation, and Human Resources Division heads from the various Zubair Group companies.

By organising these forums, The Zubair Corporation aims to foster a culture of constructive dialogue and participation while achieving positive results in Human Resource Development at a group level. The three previous forums resulted in several initiatives being successfully implemented and yielding desired results.

Speaking on the forum, Adil bin Ali Al Rahbi, Chief Transformation Officer of The Zubair Corporation, said, “Setting appropriate policies and keeping updated on the latest developments in the field of Human Capital Management is one of the pillars of progress and growth in any organisation. From this point of view, introducing various initiatives, programmes and events that focus on our human capital and their critical role in our organisation are essential for the growth and development of the Zubair Group and its subsidiaries.”

Sharing her thoughts on the forum, Sharifa bint Khalid Al Balushi, Head of the Center of Excellence for Human Resources Services for the group at The Zubair Corporation, said, “This forum was held to support the recommendations put forward in the previous ones. It also shed light on a number of ongoing group-level programmes and projects. Among them was the implementation of the second phase of a programme aimed at building a culture of performance, the second iteration of the employee survey, the implementation of a systematic plan to empower employees, optimal investments in digital transformation projects, and several other initiatives and programmes we have in the works to help prepare ourselves and achieve our desired goals for 2023.

“The purpose of this forum was to advance, develop and qualify employees for the next stage in their careers, and to enhance their role within The Zubair Corporation and its subsidiaries. Our ultimate goal is to refine employee skills and better qualify administrative heads to succeed as team leaders.”

She also stated that the Corporation had issued several decisions based on recommendations from previous forums. These have had a tremendous impact on the Corporation’s culture, performance and working environment.

The Zubair Corporation considers this Human Resources forum to be one of its most important strategic initiatives in caring for and developing its human cadres for the future.
