Muscat: A fire that broke out on Saturday morning in a food warehouse in Bausher was successfully extinguished by the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority, (CDAA) after 20 hours of firefighting.
The CDAA has confirmed in a tweet that the firefighting teams of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in Muscat Governorate ensured that the fire was completely extinguished without recording injuries before ending the firefighting operations in the food warehouse.
This authority announced that the fire brigades had dealt with the fire in a food warehouse in the Al Misfah area on Saturday morning, stressing that the fire was contained to limit its spread and work is underway to extinguish it.
The authority calls for adherence to safety requirements in order to prevent fire accidents and to preserve the safety of lives and property.
