His Majesty issues Royal orders

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has issued Royal orders on the occasion of Accession Day, to suspend withholding tax on dividends and interest on non-residents. His Majesty the Sultan also directed to provide financial support to the charitable teams affiliated with the social development committees in all wilayats, and to provide financial support to charities that support the efforts of the Ministry of Social Development in the Sultanate of Oman.

Rainfall predicted in parts of Oman

Scattered rains predicted in the northern governorates of the Sultanate of Oman including Muscat today, Wednesday, 11 January, 2023, said an official from Oman Meteorology. An official from the Oman Meteorology confirmed exclusively to Times of Oman that today, Wednesday, the weather will be cloudy to partly cloudy over the governorates of Musandam, North and South Al Batinah, Al Buraimi and the Governorate of Muscat. The Governorate of Musandam will receive more rainfall, followed by the Governorate of North Al Batinah, especially the coastal areas. Chances of rain will be minimal in the Governorate of Muscat.
