Kuwait City: Oman's number 10 Mohsin Al Khaldi struck the winning penalty for the Sultanate as they beat the UAE 5-4 on penalties in the final of the 23rd Arabian Gulf Cup, after both normal and extra time finished goalless.

Oman goalkeeper Faiz Al Rashidi saved the UAE's fifth penalty, which was taken by midfielder Omar Abdulrahman. He'd saved a penalty from the same player in the 89th minute of regulation time as well.
