Muscat: The Technical Security in the Banking and Financial Sector Conference began here under the patronage of Tahir Salim Al Amari, Executive President of the Central Bank of Oman (CBO).
The event was organised by Element Technology Company in partnership with Microsoft and the CBO.
The conference came to provide technical solutions to the modern technical challenges facing the security of the financial and banking sector in the Sultanate of Oman and the world.
It began with a review of the latest technical security solutions developed by Onsor Technology for institutions operating in the financial and banking sectors. In partnership with Microsoft, Onsor was able to develop a technical security solution known as 'Secured-Core PCs' in the TURS device designed and manufactured by Onsor Technology, which is the first secure tablet developed for industries whose owners deal with intellectual property, sensitive security information, or customers' data, including personally identifiable information (PII).
In addition, the customised technical solutions provided by Onsor to companies and sectors of all kinds that will enhance data security and provide a smarter and easier user experience were reviewed.
The event included specialised workshops, presented by specialists from Onsor Technology Company, Microsoft and the CBO to talk more about these technologies and their importance in developing and enhancing the security of the financial and banking sectors.
