Ladies and Gentlemen, after another busy and exciting year has just flown by, here we are again, counting down the final days until the New Year.
It is no secret that the past year for us has been quite inspiring, especially with all the improvement projects we have undertaken. We had plenty meetings and events held at the hotel, proving the award by the International Travel Awards - “Leading Business Hotel 2022”. Sheraton Oman Hotel has set the trends in terms of MICE and outside catering services in Oman. The hotel features meeting rooms with natural daylight and the largest hotel ballroom in the country. This along with high service standards make it a famous and favorite spot for different events, including but not limited to exhibitions, conferences, weddings, etc.
Our chefs and kitchen teams are well respected in the care sector and the wider catering industry. We offer a bespoke service that is unrivalled. Our Outside Catering Team is committed to delivering an exciting choice of food that doesn't cost the earth. And we are proud to have been nominated in the Outside Catering Team of the Year category by Caterer Middle East Awards 2022.
Each outside catering is not just a service, it is a project for a Sheraton Oman Hotel team.
Some of you may have visited Cliff Deck in Muscat Bay, the Instagram-worthy café with the stunning views. It started as a catered service, where the hotel delivered daily services to Muscat Bay villas and a Muscat Bay outlet. By partnering with Oman Aquarium, the hotel catered to the guests for indulgent Iftar daily during Ramadan 2022 in an unmatched underwater setting. And now are serving afternoon tea every Friday and Saturday.
Speaking about Afternoon Tea, most of you must have tried it at Sheraton Oman. Our customized cakes and Omani Halwa are well known not only in Oman, but UAE too.
In the new year we will continue welcoming our guests to our theme nights: the newly launched Delhi-Lahori night with a fusion of Indian and Pakistani cuisines on Wednesdays, Thursday Gaucho Night in our signature Asado Steakhouse and Omani Sabla Night with traditional favorite Omani cuisine on Fridays.
Hotelier Power ME has marked us in the following categories: General manager, Executive Chef, Housekeeping Leader and Marketing Manager.
We have also won the World Travel Awards in the category of “Oman's Leading Hotel 2022”.
National Hospitality Institute has awarded few of our Oman Talents in the category of Sales Person, Events Person, Concierge, Kitchen Assistant.

Oman’s market is emerging and we extend our gratitude for all our supporters who have been with us through thick and thin. I would like to thank them for the continuous support towards Sheraton Oman and I hope that our friendship grows many folds in the New Year.
