Five arrested for killing in Ghala

Muscat: Five men have been arrested by Royal Oman Police (ROP) after the badly beaten body of a man was found in Ghala.
The police command of Muscat province arrested five people on charges of committing the murder in Ghala industrial zone of Bausher state, officials announced. An official source at the Royal Oman Police said: "Al-’Uthaiba police station moved after receiving the report about the crime scene, where a body was found lying on the ground with bloodstains in a walled area in the desert of Ghala industrial zone. The defendant was found dead on the night of the crime.
“The victim was accompanied by the five defendants after a dispute broke out between them,” he added. “The victim was subjected to fatal beating by defendants during the dispute, then the accused threw the victim’s body away in a walled and deserted area.” The five suspects were referred to the judicial authorities for interrogation.
