Interior Minister briefed on process of municipal council elections

Muscat: Sayyid Hamoud Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior met on Sunday with members of the Municipial Councils Elections Main Committee for the Third Term.

Al Busaidi was briefed on the electoral process. He expressed his thanks to the Chair and members of the committee for the efforts they are exerting to make the electoral process a success.

A media delegation from Arab and European countries participating in the press coverage of Third Term Municipal Councils Elections was briefed on the electoral process when they visited the Interior Ministry.

The delegation met with members of the election’s Main Committee. They also reviewed indicators and statistics of the elections.
