Foreign Minister confirms Oman's support for Iraq

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Commissioned His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign, headed the delegation of the Sultanate of Oman participating in the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership in its second edition, which was held in Jordan.

 Oman News Agency reported: "The conference aims to enhance cooperation with the brotherly Republic of Iraq and stand by it in facing challenges, devoting security and stability, combating terrorism, and supporting its efforts in achieving economic development and reconstruction."

 In his speech, the Minister of Foreign stressed the solidarity and support ofOman for Iraq and the importance of the conference in exchanging views and deliberating on the overall challenges facing the region and the world to achieve cooperation between countries.
