Sohar Festival in North Al Batinah witnesses huge turnout

Muscat: Sohar Entertainment Festival, North Al Batinah Governorate witnessed a large turnout of visitors.

The first Sohar Festival launched on Friday , November 18, to celebrate the 52nd National Day under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Sulaiman Al Kindi, Governor of North Al Batinah, and in the presence of a number of officials in the public and private sectors, and members of the Shura Council in the Governorate. It will run till Sunday, December 18, 2022.

The festival aims to open the opportunity for the participation of the people of the governorate and job seekers to be an active part in the organisation, promotion and marketing of the festival and its events and activities, in addition to opening the opportunity for productive and low income families to display their products in the sites specified for them. The festival also aims to highlight the tourism, entertainment, geographical and natural capabilities of the Wilayat of Sohar and the wilayats of the governorate in general.
