The Hague: The Sultanate of Oman is currently taking part in the 27th session of the Conference of the States Parties (CSP-27).
The event is organised by the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) at its headquarters in The Hague.
Oman’s delegation in the five-day session is headed by Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Salim Al Harthy, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Oman’s Permanent Representative at the OPCW.
The session reviews the progress of implementing the Chemical Weapons Convention. It also touches on means of enhancing international cooperation in the peaceful uses of chemistry, among other topics.
