National Colors exhibition for plastic arts inaugurated in North Al Batinah Governorate
The Youth Committee of Al-Salam Club organised in Shinas Gate Hall in North Al-Batinah Governorate an exhibition "National Colors" for plastic arts, in which a number of artists participated in the Wilayats of Shinas and Liwa.
The exhibition included 68 color paintings that constitute national features, in addition to live painting activities, where a number of participating artists painted their paintings in the exhibition, which lasts for two days.
Dr Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed Al-Awadhi, head of the club's youth committee, explained that the exhibition represents an opportunity to display the creations of plastic artists in the Wilayats of Shinas and Liwa, in addition to instilling national values and identity in the younger generation through the fields of plastic art.
The organisation of the exhibition coincides with the Sultanate of Oman's celebrations of the 52nd glorious National Day.
The honorable Dr Aisha bint Ahmed Al-Washahia, member of the State Council, sponsored the opening of the exhibition, in the presence of a number of directors of government institutions and participating plastic artists.
A national march held in the Wilayat of Barka, South Al Batinah Governorate
The Youth Cultural and Sports Club in the Wilayat of Barka in the Al Batinah South Governorate organised a march to celebrate the 52nd Glorious National Day.
A number of folklore troupes, a group of Oman Bikers and the Omani Women's Association in the wilayat participated in the celebration, in addition to paragliding performances.
Horse show held in this Wilayat in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate
The Bahla Equestrian Society, in cooperation with the Oman Equestrian Federation, organised the traditional horse show and its accompanying events in the equestrian field in Bahla, in celebration of the 52nd Glorious National Day, during which the participants expressed their joy on this glorious occasion.
The ceremony included many programmes accompanying the horse show, with the participation of a number of horsemen from various wilayats , associations and horse committees in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate. It also included the opening of the equestrian exhibition, which includes horse supplies, old and new.
The event was sponsored by His Excellency Sheikh Hilal bin Said Al Hajri, Governor of the Al Dakhiliyah , in the presence of His Excellency the Wali of Bahla and a number of officials of the Oman Equestrian Federation.
