Floward to expand operations in Oman, provide more jobs for Omani youths

Muscat:  Floward, the go-to online flowers and gifts destination in MENA and the UK, hopes to expand its operations to cover the entire Sultanate of Oman by mid-2023, according to Floward Chairman and CEO Abdulaziz B al Loughani.

Loughani was speaking at a glittering ceremony to mark the one-year celebrations of its operations in Oman at Jumeirah Muscat Bay resort. He added that the expansion plans will also provide a platform for more job opportunities to Omani youths.

The event was held under the patronage of H H Sayyida Alia bint Thuwaini al Said, Chairperson of the Omani Women's Association and in the presence of Floward CGO Mohammed al Arifi, Oman Country Manager Muhammad Haris Aslam, and other dignitaries from the Sultanate of Oman.

In the year since its launch in Oman, Floward has witnessed great success and has recently moved its operations to a new head office located at Bawshar Heights in Muscat that occupies an area of 2000 sqm comprised of three floors that include the administration offices and fulfilment centre.

This area is also considered a strategic location that will allow Floward to provide better and easier logistics and delivery services to its customers in Muscat. And for the first time, clients will also be able to pick up their orders directly from the fulfillment centre.

Floward also took this opportunity to celebrate the 52nd National Day of the Sultanate which falls on November 18 by showcasing its exclusive collection of unique products with designs that reflect the national identity of Oman and are inspired by the Omani culture with their diversity of colours and patterns. It also showcased its exclusive and licensed collection for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

Loughani said: “At first, we’d like to congratulate the Omani people and leadership for the Sultanate’s 52nd National Day, and wish them continuous peace, security, and prosperity.

“Today, we are thrilled to inaugurate our new head office in Muscat, and we’d like to thank Her Highness Sayyida Alia bint Thuwaini al Said for her presence and generous patronage; we’d also like to welcome all our esteemed guests. We are currently working on further developing and expanding our operations to cover the entire Sultanate by mid-2023, 23, which will play a role in the economic diversification and add many job opportunities to Omani youth.”
