HSBC Bank Oman S.A.O.G. has been voted Market Leader by corporates in the Sultanate of Oman for the 11th consecutive year in the annual Euromoney Cash Management Survey 2022. In addition, the bank was also voted number one bank for cash management services in the Sultanate, being the fourth consecutive year it has secured this accolade.
“HSBC’s ambition is to be the preferred international financial partner of our clients and being recognised for the 11th consecutive year as the market leader for cash management in Oman shows we are making good on that goal. We are continually investing to ensure our products and platforms are market leading locally, regionally and globally to serve the needs of our clients in Oman,” said Melika Betley, CEO of HSBC Oman.
Recognition in Oman was complemented by other HSBC successes, with the bank once again voted the best bank for cash management services in Qatar and Kuwait.
Kyle Boag, Regional Head of Global Payments Solutions in HSBC’s Middle East, North Africa and Turkey region, said: “This is a fantastic result for HSBC and reflects our ability to deliver a market leading cash management proposition in the region. I would like to thank all our clients for their continued faith in our ability to meet their needs.”
In 2022 HSBC Oman GLCM (Global Liquidity and Cash Management) Team won its first corporate mandate for Direct Debit, the popular electronic collection solution that allows business clients to initiate instructions to collect an amount directly from their customers’ bank accounts on the basis of an existing agreement. This is offered as part of HSBC's suite of receivables propositions.
