Muscat: A workshop on fair competition among airlines kicked off here today. It was organised by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) in cooperation with the Arab Civil Aviation Organization. Specialists from Arab countries are taking part in the three-day workshop.
Salim Hamad Al Hussaini, Director General of Aviation Regulation at the CAA, underscored the significance of upgrading cooperation to enable national Arab air carriers to enter the market in a fair manner that achieves balance in competition and prevents monopoly and dumping.
Oman, represented by the CAA, will also host the 48th meeting of the Arab Air Transport Commission for this year (2022).
