Muscat: National carrier Oman Air will launch flights to Phuket while SalamAir will operate direct flights to Czech Republic in November 2022, the airlines announced on Monday.
In a statement, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, will offer four flights a week between Muscat and Phuket, one of Thailand’s most popular resort islands, starting from 15th November 2022.
The flights will operate on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Fares for economy class will start at OMR299 and business class at OMR650 inclusive of taxes. “Guests travelling to Muscat and Phuket should ensure they are aware of official requirements to enter or transit through the country,” the airline said.
SalamAir, also announced direct scheduled flights between Oman and Prague – the fantastic capital city of the Czech Republic from Muscat and Salalah. Starting from the 4th of November, SalamAir will fly twice a week to Prague.

The carrier, which operates a fleet of modern A320neo and A321neo, has selected the Czech Republic as its second destination in Europe. The new destination in its network marks the airline’s further expansion into central Europe. SalamAir is confident Prague will appeal to a broad range of leisure travelers looking to satisfy their wanderlust.

“We expect that SalamAir would transport up to nine thousand passengers in one direction between Oman and the Czech Republic during the winter operational season. Until now destinations in Oman have mainly been operated from Prague by seasonal charter flights.” The journey between the city of Prague and Muscat will take about six hours and fifteen minutes.
