Muscat: Tariq Hilal Al Barwani, founder of the Knowledge Oman, has been selected to participate in the annual Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) 2017, taking place in Hyderabad, India, from November 28 to November 30.
The summit, which connects promising entrepreneurs to business leaders, investors and supporters from around the world is co-hosted by the United States of America and the Republic of India, reinforcing the two countries’ increasing cooperationon entrepreneurship and technology.
The advisor to the U.S. President Ivanka Trump will lead the United States delegation to the summit and Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi will be inaugurating the summit.

A strong group of entrepreneurs, investors, and ecosystem actors reflecting diversity of age, gender, geography, industry, and expertise will attend GES 2017.
The summit will create an environment that empowers innovators to take their ideas to the next level.
With a representation of nearly 2,000 entrepreneurs, investors, educators, policy makers, government officials and business executives, GES will create new opportunities for investment, partnership and collaboration.
Through two-and-a-half days of networking, mentoring, and workshops, GES empowers entrepreneurs to pitch their ideas, build partnerships, secure funding, innovate, and find their target customers, creating new goods and services that will transform societies.
The summit will feature a wide range of breakout sessions, master classes, workshops, pitch competitions, mentoring, and networking sessions. The summit will also have demonstration areas, experiential learning exhibitions, and opportunities to connect with industry experts.
