1. Second horse race of the season to be held in South Al Batinah
The second horse race for the current season 2022-2023 will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022, at Al Rahba Racecourse in the Wilayat of Barka, South Al Batinah Governorate.
The Royal Horse Racing Club will organise, next Friday, the second horse race for the current season 2022-2023, at Al Rahba Racecourse in the Wilayat of Barka. The race will include eight rounds, six of which are for purebred Arabian horses and two for purebred hybrid horses.
2. Commerce Ministry seizes products with flag, map of Oman
The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIp), has raided a number of shops and confiscated products which contained the royal emblem, the flag and map of the Sultanate of Oman.
"The Ministry carried out inspection campaigns for the shops and confiscated a number of displayed products because they contained the royal emblem, flag and map of the Sultanate of Oman without obtaining the necessary licence from the Ministry, " the Ministry said in a statement.
3. HM receives written message from President of Maldives
His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has received on Wednesday a written message from the President of the Republic of Maldives.
His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik received a written message from His Excellency Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, President of the Republic of Maldives, related to bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to support and enhance them in various fields.
The message was received by Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, when he received in his office the envoy of the Maldivian President, Abdullah Shahid, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
