Muscat: The all-new 2022 Hyundai Elantra – the automaker’s bestseller in the compact sedan
segment – is creating a buzz in the Omani market, not least for its bold styling, generous
equipment and affordable pricing.
The seventh-generation Elantra - the product of significant enhancements both inside and out
– delivers the most progressive in-vehicle experience in its class. Longer, wider and more
powerful than its counterparts of the preceding generation, the 2022 Elantra also has a

Second only to its sibling, the Tucson, as the global best-seller in the Hyundai lineup, the 2022
Elantra has evolved over three decades – both in design and technology – only to cement the

The 2022 edition of the Elantra stays true to its reputation as a hot-selling sedan. Incorporating
the acclaimed ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ design identity of Hyundai, the Elantra comes with an
elaborately designed chassis that enables customers to experience this distinctive character of
the brand. In addition, a spacious interior, modern comfort and connectivity features, and
advanced safety and driver assistance systems, ensure an immensely satisfying driving
experience with unmatched fuel economy to boot.
Available in two engine size options – a Gamma 1.6-litre MPI and a Nu 2.0-litre MPI – the
Elantra is equipped with a powerful and fuel efficient engine connected to either a six-speed
manual or automatic transmission. The Gamma 1.6 MPI has a maximum power of
127.5ps/6,300 rpm and maximum torque of 19.5kg.m/4,500 rpm. The corresponding values or
the Nu 2.0-litre MPI are 159ps/6,200rpm of power and 19.5kg.m/4,500rpm of torque.
Standard across the Comfort and Premier variants in the 1.6-litre model range is a host of
convenience features, including Central Door Lock, Power Windows, Rear AC Vent, 8-inch
Audio/Radio Display (only with the Premier variant) and Audio Remote Control.
In line with its continued focus on safety innovations, both variants come equipped with a wide
range of safety features including Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, Daytime Running Lights,
Rear Parking Distance Warning, and Front Airbags, in addition to the ABS+ ESC+ HAC features as
standard.
Amenities and technologies features are dramatically ramped up in the 2.0-litre line-up
comprising two variants – Luxury and Royal. Exclusive to the Royal are a Sunroof and Chrome
Pack, although Alloy Wheels and Mudguard are standard. Adding to the array of convenience
features across both variants are a Smart Key & Push Button Start, as well as Remote Engine
Starter.
Safety features are significantly enhanced as well. While the Royal includes a Blind-Spot
Collision Warning System and Auto Window Defogger, both variants also come equipped with
Front Airbags, Front and Rear Parking Distance Warning, Immobilizer System, Tyre Pressure
Monitoring System and ABS + ESC + HAC package. All of these features bundled together make
driving the 2022 Elantra a delightful experience for the driver and passengers alike.
